Colton Balmforth, Executive Director
Colton has been working for Legacy House since he was 16 years old in a variety of positions. While working with Legacy residents and their families, Colton has learned how to provide care with a Personal Touch as well as the importance of caring for the elderly and others in need. The residents are like family to Colton. Thus, he and his associates strive to care for the residents as if they are their own family members. It is vital to have respect for those you serve. In his spare time, Colton enjoys spending time with his family and outdoors participating in various activities.
Liz Cox, Marketing Director
Liz has been with Legacy Retirement Communities since 2010, when she first worked as the Corporate Administrative Assistant. In 2012, her love for people and serving others led her to sister-community, Legacy Village of Taylorsville, a memory care community, where she served residents and families for over 6 years. One of the things Liz loves most about working at Legacy is our Personal Touch Culture. In her day-to-day work life, Liz strives to be a little better, do a little more, and to take the time to connect with our residents. Personal Touch goes hand-in-hand with Liz's management philosophy – that everyone is a part of our Legacy family and should feel loved and welcome when they enter our community. Liz loves people, especially her husband, family, friends and five siblings.
Riley Billings, Assistant Administrator
Riley was raised in the beautiful state of Colorado and moved to Utah in 2012 to attend Weber State University, where graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Health Administration. Riley enjoys the connections he has been able to make with those he has met. After working at McKay Dee Hospital, he joined the Legacy team in May of 2018. Riley was instantly drawn to Legacy’s Personal Touch Culture. He also enjoys being in the outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, and scuba diving.
Calley Robinson, Administrative Assistant
Calley Robinson has worked at Legacy House of Bountiful since 2008. Prior to her position as Administrative Assistant, she worked as a Dining Room Server, CNA, Med-Tech and Receptionist. Calley loves the Legacy culture of Personal Touch and lives it each day. Calley is always going out of her way helping residents, families, and employees with whatever they may need. Calley enjoys spending time outdoors, camping and is a certified rock climbing instructor. Anyone who knows Calley knows she lives life to its fullest.
Jessica Kunz RN, Resident Care Coordinator
Jessica graduated with her RN from Nightingale School of Nursing, and is currently working on furthering her education at Western Governors University. Nursing has been a passion of hers since she was a little girl. She enjoys learning about the residents as well as listening to their life memories and stories. Jessica treats each resident as if they were her own family and strives to provide the best care for each of them. Jessica believes the key to life is to live with positivity and an open mind. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, traveling, gardening, and cleaning.
Shelly Robinson, Dining Services Director
Shelly was born and raised in Bountiful in a home where canning, cooking and baking bread were regular activities. When she was 18 years old, she started her first job as a dietary aide at a local community hospital. She was quickly promoted to the position of cook. After raising three daughters as a stay-at-home mom, running a successful daycare facility and working part time in an assisted-living community, she accepted a part-time job at Legacy House of Bountiful. This job soon became a full-time position because she loved the residents and the community so much. She loves working at Legacy and enjoys going the extra mile to provide delicious, healthy food for our residents.
Vicki Scholz, Recreation Director
Vicki was born in Pennsylvania and raised in New York and Los Angeles. Vicki and her husband moved to Utah to attend school, where they raised nine children. She served as PTA President, taught music and dance classes, served as room mother numerous times, helped all of her children learn to play a musical instrument, and helped thier sons earn their Eagle Scout awards. After her husband passed away, she finished raising the youngest four children while selling real estate, which allowed her to work around her children’s busy schedules. She has been with Legacy House of Bountiful since 2005. She loves coming to work each day because she knows that she, along with her team, provides a “positive, loving, compassionate, fun, inspiring and growing experience.” She enjoys being a grandmother, traveling, tutoring at local elementary schools and providing humanitarian aid in Haiti.
Charlee Teto, Housekeeping Director
Charlee began her career at Legacy House of Bountiful as a CNA. She thinks of Legacy House as her second home and appreciates listening to the resident’s stories. Charlee is a proud mom and enjoys spending time outside camping, hunting, and hiking with her husband and their dog, Goose. She also dabbles in small craft projects and likes to restore vintage furniture. Her favorite quote is, “When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.”
Jerry Wise, Maintenance Director
Jerry was born in Rockford, Illinois and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. His management and maintenance skills were honed during a long career in the U.S. Army, both in the United States and overseas. Positions included everything from Demolitions Expert to Armored Vehicle Operator to Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, and Training Drill Instructor. After retiring from the Army, he worked for a national automotive-service franchise as a store manager, regional training supervisor, computer technician and regional corporate operations director. In addition, he raised three children as a single father. Since moving to Utah, he has spent many years helping maintain nursing homes and assisted-living communities. He has been employed by Legacy House since 2001, he loves helping and getting to know the residents in our community.
